What do I do if I've lost my keys?

If you are locked out or you have lost your keys, please call in to the office. If it is out of officehours then we suggest you find alternative accomodation for that evening and come into the office the next day. If this is not an option and you still need to call through, please be aware that any charges associated with the problemn will be youre responsibility, and this could amount to £140 + VAT if a locksmith has to visit the property.

What do I do if there's water leaking?

Please inform us immediately of leaks on 01424 739642, and review the following list of things you can do in the meantime.

Copper water pipe/tap leak;
please turn the water off at the stop tap (normally under the sink) and then turn the kitchen taps on to drain the tank.

Ceiling leak from bathroom above;
stop using the bathroom immediately and don't switch on the ceiling light in the room below. Try to catch the water in buckets.

Washing machine leak;
switch the machine off and if the leak is coming from the water supply in to the machine then turn the red and blue plastic taps off. Be sure to mop up as much water as possible.

Roof leak;
catch as much water in buckets as possible and mop up with towels/newspaper

What do I do if there's a power cut?

Unplug all electrical items and reset the fusebox. Check to see if the powercut is affecting the whole neighbourhood or if it is localised to your property.

What do I do if a small gas?

Call Transco on 0800 111 999 and switch the gas off at the gas meter. Transco will visit the property and switch off the gas system at the areas they think might be a problem.

What do I do if the boiler isn't firing up?

Check the pressure guage and pilot light. If the pressure is below 1 you may need to fill the central heating system with more water to increase the pressure. It would be beneficial to follow the instructions on the boiler flap to re-start the pilot light.
